As part of their partnership and support for the celebration of World Metropolitan Day, United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLG Africa) and Metropolis have the honor to inform you that they are launching a learning programme based on a pedagogical content designed by Metropolis and its alliances on : “ The Metropolitan Governance in Africa” from October 2021 to January 2022.

• Webinaire 1 : Topic : « Metropolitan Governance Model » from 1^st October, 2021 
• Webinaire 2 : Topic : « The Right to the Metropolitan city » from 29^th October, 2021 
• Webinaire 3 :  « Case studies» from 6 to11 Décember 2021 at the ALGA Forum (FAMI 5) 
• Webinaire 4 :   Peer Learning  from Janvier 2022. 

The methodology of these webinars aims at acquiring and sharing knowledge and exchanging experiences and innovative practices. Participants will have at their disposal written and translated material on gender-sensitive metropolitan governance in English, French and Spanish.  

WORKING LANGUAGE 

The Webinars will be supported by interpretation services into French, English, Arabic, and Portuguese.
