As part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Italian Foundation Romualdo Del Bianco, the International Institute of Life Beyond Tourism and United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLG-Africa), Mr. Jean Pierre Elong Mbassi, General Secretary of UCLG-Africa was invited to the 21th General Assembly of International Experts and to the Symposium on “Heritage as a Builder of Peace”, in Italy, Florence, from 1th to 3 March 2019.

The General Secretary of UCLG-Africa was represented to this activity by the Director of the African Local Governments Academy(ALGA), Dr Najat Zarrouk.
