Decentralized cooperation and learning between cities are powerful tools to better develop participatory urbanism and planning tools, as it allows Local Governments to learn from peers, exchange knowledge and best practices. Intermediary cities in the African context share similar experiences and challenges. Peer to peer learning is an opportunity to discuss and envision solutions to some of the challenges intermediary cities are currently experiencing.
