Within the framework of the preparation of this training offer and the implementation of the 16 scholarships received from the African Fund for Support to International Decentralized Cooperation (FACDI), Al Akhawayn University has received the share of financing from this Fund, the share of the Region of Fez-Meknes, while those of the Regions of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and Souss-Massa, are in progress. The registration files of the scholars have been transmitted to the University or are being completed. ALGA and AUI are also working on the pedagogical content of the Master.

The Academy also organized a coordination and preparation meeting on the deployment modalities of the MEMVA between UCLG Africa, AUI, the Councils of the Regions of Morocco and the African Local and Subnational Governments that are beneficiaries of the scholarships, on May 27, 2021.

During FAMI5_2021, ALGA also held another meeting to mobilize experts and resource persons to prepare and finalize the pedagogical content of the Master.
